You may have seen a name on a list of winners and wondered if you an seen the person at an event but not known who they were. This section will try to put faces to those names.
As a catamaran sailor who is interested in Racing I constantly read about the top people and their exploits.
One of my interests is to spot the youngsters who will be the future top people.
One such young sailor, not 18 this summer('99), is Chris Field who helms a NACRA Inter 20.
He won the Thorpe Bay Yacht Club Catamaran Open against the best of the locals in quite rough conditions.
He came 7th overall in the Three Forts Race 1999 being the second Inter 20 home.
He was 4th out of 40 at Bala Cat Open 2000
He dropped the Inter 20 in favour of an A-class cat but has now moved on again.
